OPERATION
The sheets are placed into a top loading bottom feed magazine and are singly advanced by means of a vacuum belt to positioning transport rollers. These, activated by a programmable logic, bring the sheet to the precise creasing position. A male and female creasing tool, exchangeable depending on proper weight, form a perfect crease. Subsequently the sheets enter the fold pocket with large diameter fold rollers (70 mm diameter) in order to produce a „soft" fold and then pass through a set of pressing rollers, stabilizing the fold line and making a perfect section for producing a lay-flat photo book. The high speed for precise positioning, creasing, folding and pressing allows for a production output of up to 10’000 sheets/h with only one operator.   top! |
